The High School has been an 11 to 18 co-educational, comprehensive school since 1980. The School has a roll of approximately 1,250 pupils and a reputation which draws children from feeder schools outside the traditional catchment area.

We are medium sized Junior school catering for children of all abilities from 7-11 years of age. We currently have 232 children in school, grouped in 8 full time classes. We are proud of our links with St. Mary's Church, which include weekly assemblies by the rector and termly celebrations held in church.

Diss Infants' and Nursery School offers good quality and appropriate Early Years education, catering for the needs of very young children. The School received an Achievement Award in 2002 and 2003, following an excellent Ofsted inspection. We hold Investor In People status and the Investor in People Leadership and Management award. All areas of the Early Learning Goals and National Curriculum are covered through termly, well-planned whole school topics and each child's progress is carefully monitored.
